Barry Rogowski and Kathy Taylor from the Washington State Department of Ecology graciously accepted an invitation to discuss how a remaining five million dollars budgeted for Port Gamble Bay habitat preservation, source control and clean up sustainability might be allocated.

KFBP representatives had requested the conversation in order to learn more about the process the Ecology Department would use to allocate, and convey KFBP priorities for the funds.

As the photos help show, this was a thoughtful and productive exchange of information, developing working relationships to collaborate well into the future.
