Judy and I visited the park at 10: a.m. at the high point in a 12.8 foot tide on December 28th. Two Spotted Sandpiper were walking the logs & shore in the estuary foraging. They seemed oblivious to the photographer, so I was able to take photos until the light became too bright, overexposing the white in the breast of the birds. Sorry not to be able to capture the bobbing motion characteristic of the species.
