Judy and I joined the excellent tour with Bainbridge Parks commissioners, staff, and Sakai family this morning--giving the community a great opportunity to explore & discuss the bond residents are voting on which will allow us to purchase this property. This is a strategic location in proximity to the schools complex, the Village & other retail/ services at the SR 305/ High School Road, library, and residential density, etc..
AND, it allows a superb destination & waypoint along the Sound to Olympics Trail which will be constructed from the ferry terminal to H. S. road this year. There were Bufflehead Ducks on the pond, which will a great wildlife viewing spot along the STO.
